Haunting moonlit image of a baby being passed under razor-wire by migrants won the World Press Photo award at the prestigious World Press Photo Contest.
The unpublished black and white picture was taken by photographer Warren Richardson on August 28 near the border crossing point at Roszke in Hungary as migrants tried to reach Europe before authorities completed a secure fence along the length of the country's border with Serbia.
Several winners in the news categories focused on the migrant crisis and one of its causes - the war in Syria
The contest drew 82,951 images from 5,775 photographers.
