Edifice (Pvt) Ltd, an Indian property development company, has entered
into an agreement with the Sri Lanka Board of Investment for the
construction of the island’s tallest building consisting 96 floors with
an investment of USD 330 million.
The unique feature is that this building has been designed while paying tribute to the Sri Lankan team that won the 1996 World Cup Cricket trophy.
This building or tower is to be constructed on a two acre plot of land in Rajagiriya which the Urban Development Authority has leased out to M/s. Wills Realtors (Pvt) Ltd.
The 96 storied tower would be at least 363 metres in height with luxury facilities including 373 residencies, 92 penthouses etc.
Construction of this tower is planned to be completed within 48 months.
